Everyone has probably seen a rainbow at one or more times in their life.

This natural phenomenon that lights up the sky when there are a lot of water particles in the air.

The story of Noah's Ark has probably also been heard by most people.

Noah's Ark which survived the great flood and where GOD repented and said that in pledge for his promise never to let the earth be flooded again, he would let the rainbow appear after every downpour. This is how history has passed from generation to generation and we have admired the rainbow, but we still know surprisingly little about what the colors in the rainbow mean.

If you want to understand what colours mean to us as humans, you have to start where the colours come from.

All the colours we see in the rainbow travel together with the light down to Earth. And the light that is created by the Sun occurs during the constant explosions of elements that illuminate the Sun and give us the warmth that we all experience as life-giving.

Imagine that the light you see outside in daylight has traveled down from the Sun at a speed of 300,000 kilometers per second. And even though the Sun is 150 million kilometers from us, it only takes 8 ½ minutes to reach us. There are large distances covered by light in that short time. But light does not travel alone.

Along with the light, there are many life-important rays that we have learned to utilize to our advantage.

In this drawing you see what the light brings with it in terms of rays.
